In my opinion ambiguity can be a good and bad. However, when it comes to making a connection through writing, it is best to place clarity as a first priority. The example that they provided in the book was not to cut out connective tissue such as the words which and that.
The book mentions that when readers create confusion for themselves by reconsidering the sentence an Escher effect. This is when people are forced to consider the text instead of just taking it in.
Most of the sites online are set up as to where they omit articles and words such as which and that. I believe the main purpose is to cut the writing and make it shorter, however if they confuse the readers, it is much safer and efficient to leave the words in.
